CSC center process –

  • Eligible beneficiaries enroll through the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) in their area.
  • Application can be submitted independently or with CSC assistance through Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) or Enumerators.

Online Process –

  • The registration process involves visiting the official “PM Vishwakarma” portal : https://pmvishwakarma.gov.in/
  • clicking “Login,” and selecting “CSC – Register Artisans.
  • Answer questions, complete Aadhaar verification, and enter the necessary details.
  • The application process includes biometric verification at the nearest CSC and filling out the online form.
  • Note the “Application Number“.
  • Verification involves three stages: Eligibility verification at the Gram Panchayat or ULB level, vetting and recommendation by the District Implementation Committee, and final approval by the Screening Committee.
  • Benefit disbursal follows the approval of eligible beneficiaries.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE PM VISHWAKARMA SCHEME:

  • The applicant must be an artisan or craftsperson using hands and tools.
  • Engaged in the unorganized sector on a self-employment basis.
  • Involved in one of the 18 family-based traditional trades specified in the scheme.
  • Minimum age – 18 years.
  • Only one family member is eligible for registration and benefits under the scheme.
  • Not have utilized loans from similar credit-based schemes by the Central or State Government (e.g., PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, Mudra) in the past 5 years.
