Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Vijayawada under the overall supervision of Principal Secretary to Government, Commercial Taxes, overseas the Commercial Taxes Administration in the State. Commissioner is the Head of the Department and overseas the implementation of the statutes administered by the Department.

It has three tier organizational hierarchy. Head of the Department – Divisions – Circles. Each Division is headed by a Deputy Commissioner and each Circle is headed by a Commercial Tax Officer. the Enforcement Wing of the Department functions from the office of the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes.
