Forgot your CSE AP teacher login password? Open the CSE AP portal, select Forget password?, and follow the account-verification prompts. The current reset form asks for a User ID, captcha, mobile number, OTP and a new password. After a successful reset, return to the login page.
This guide covers teacher access to CSE/SIMS and TIS. It does not cover AP TET or DSC candidate accounts.
Which user ID and password should teachers use?
For TIS access, the published user manual identifies the teacher’s Treasury/HRMS ID used in the Facial Recognition (FR) attendance app as the username, and the FR app password as the password.
Use the current credentials assigned to your account. If your school has provided newer instructions, follow those. If you are unsure which ID is registered, confirm it with your Headmaster or school administrator before trying different IDs.
Do not assume your school’s UDISE code or a recruitment application number is your individual teacher login ID.
How to log in to CSE AP
- Open the official CSE AP website.
- Select Login.
- Enter your teacher username and current password.
- Type the captcha displayed on the page.
- Select Sign In.
For TIS work, the user manual describes the route Services → S2 TIS Services after login. Menu availability may depend on your account and current departmental settings.
If the password is rejected, check for typing mistakes and an outdated saved password before starting recovery.
How to reset your CSE AP teacher login password
Use Forget password? on the main login screen, or open the CSE AP password-reset page.
- Enter your User ID and the displayed captcha.
- Continue through verification and provide the mobile number associated with your account when requested.
- Follow the OTP prompts and enter the code you receive.
- Enter a new password and repeat it in Confirm Password.
- Complete the form and check for a success message before trying to log in again.
Choose the correct form: The old DSE recovery page explicitly says it is only for DEO and MEO users. Ordinary teacher accounts should start from the main CSE login page’s recovery link.
New password requirements
The current CSE reset page lists these requirements:
- Between 8 and 20 characters.
- At least one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter.
- At least one number.
- At least one of these special characters: @ # $ %.
Choose a unique password and enter it identically in both fields.
OTP not received: what should you check?
These are practical checks, not confirmation that the portal has an OTP fault:
- Check the account first. Confirm that you entered the correct teacher User ID.
- Check access to your registered number. If the page shows a masked number, make sure you recognise it.
- Check SMS delivery. Ensure the relevant SIM is active and has network coverage; check filtered messages too.
- Allow the request to finish. Avoid repeatedly tapping the OTP request button. If a resend option appears, follow its timer or instructions.
If your registered number is old or inaccessible, ask your Headmaster or Mandal Educational Officer (MEO) which authorised office handles mobile-number correction for your account.
Changing browsers will not correct an outdated mobile number in departmental records.
Password changed, but login still fails?
First, open a fresh login page and type the new password manually. Your browser may still be filling in the old one.
| What happens | What to check next |
|---|---|
| The username or password is rejected | Check the User ID, letter case and accidental spaces. Confirm that the reset completed successfully. |
| The captcha is rejected | Reload or refresh the captcha if that option is available, then enter the current code. |
| The login page is blank or incomplete | Try an updated browser or a private window to check whether the problem is specific to your browser session. |
| The page will not open | Check your connection and try another network. A timeout alone does not show whether the portal is down for everyone. |
| Login works, but TIS is missing | Ask the school administrator to check account access and the currently available services. |
If a private window works, clearing site data for CSE AP may help. This signs you out, so keep your credentials available. Browser cleanup cannot fix an incorrect User ID, account permissions or a departmental record mismatch.
Where to get help if you still cannot log in
Start with your Headmaster or school administrator. Ask them to verify your account details and direct you to the appropriate MEO or departmental support contact.
Keep these details ready:
- Your name, school and teacher User ID.
- The exact error message.
- The date and time of the failed attempt.
- A screenshot with personal information hidden.
Share account identifiers only through the authorised support channel. Never share your password or OTP.
Departmental contact information is listed under Reach Us on the official CSE AP homepage.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a common CSE AP teacher login password?
Use your own account password. Do not try passwords copied from another teacher or an unofficial website. If you have never received login instructions, ask your school administrator.
Is the teacher login the same as AP TET or DSC login?
Use the login for the service you need. This guide covers teacher CSE/SIMS access; recruitment and examination candidate accounts have their own login instructions.
Can WayAlert reset my password?
No. WayAlert provides an independent guide. Password recovery and account corrections must take place through the department’s authorised systems and support staff.
